The City of Alameda Democratic Club is a grassroots organization started in 1985 and chartered by the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee.
Membership Information
Membership is open to all Alamedans (and "outsiders" who share our mission) who are registered Democrats and wish to work together for common social and political goals. Our membership exceeds 200. The Alameda County Democratic Central Committee has selected us on three occasions as Club of the Year!
We'd Like to Meet You
The club is a place where you can become part of Alameda 's community life. We number among our membership, state and locally elected officials, representatives of numerous advisory bodies, civic, business and professional leaders, older folks, younger folks, and those just wanting to find out more about the Democratic Party. We are open to new ideas and people. We welcome participation at all levels of club activity. Most of our members are Democrats of centrist and liberal persuasion working together to find common ground so that we can be the most effective.
